Welcome to Empire Inc ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App").

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Email address, username, and password when you create an account
  • Sign-In Providers: If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that provider
  • Profile Information: Display name, avatar preferences
  • Payment Information: Purchases and subscriptions are processed securely through the Apple App Store / Google Play Store and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We receive your purchase history but never your full card details

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers
  • Advertising Identifier: Your device's advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / Apple IDFA), used to show ads and measure ad performance for non-premium users
  • Push Token: A push notification token so we can send you game notifications
  • Usage Data: Game progress, in-app actions, session duration
  • Analytics Data: App performance, crash reports, and feature usage

2.3 Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, which may collect or receive some of the data described above:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication
  • Google Sign-In & Apple Sign-In: Authentication
  • RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management
  • PostHog: Product analytics (in-app actions and usage)
  • Sentry: Crash reporting and performance monitoring
  • Google AdMob: Advertising for non-premium users
  • Ad Mediation Partners: Through AdMob mediation, ads may also be served and measured by AppLovin, Unity Ads, Pangle (ByteDance), and ironSource. These partners may receive your advertising identifier to serve and measure ads

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the App
  • Process transactions and manage subscriptions
  • Personalize your gaming experience
  • Send game notifications and updates
  • Improve our services and develop new features
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party companies that help us operate the App (e.g. Supabase, RevenueCat, PostHog, Sentry)
  • Advertising Partners: For non-premium users, your advertising identifier and ad-interaction data are shared with Google AdMob and its mediation partners (AppLovin, Unity Ads, Pangle / ByteDance, ironSource) to show and measure personalized ads
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger or acquisition

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Secure authentication mechanisms

7. Children's Privacy

Empire Inc is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Advertising

Non-premium users may see advertisements served through Google AdMob and its mediation partners (AppLovin, Unity Ads, Pangle / ByteDance, ironSource). These services may use your device's advertising identifier to show and measure personalized ads.

Where required, we ask for your consent before serving personalized ads (via Google's User Messaging Platform on Android and App Tracking Transparency on iOS). You can reset or limit ad tracking at any time in your device settings, and you can remove ads entirely by subscribing to a premium plan.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the App via Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing privacy@empireinc.app. Deletion is permanent and removes your progress, businesses, and personal data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.
